Hello amazing boos!
We hope you are well and had a fabulous, fruitful and well balanced March!
Here’s a small update on what March had in-store for us at TABOO HQ.
Probably the biggest “mile stone” moment for us this month was making our first payment to our manufacturer for TABOO’s pads and tampons!!! This payment was specifically for the printing of our boxes and our tampon leaflets – woohoo how exciting! It’s taken so long for us to get to this point, as we’ve had to finalise our contract, sort out our insurance, solidify things like cashflow and all that important stuff 🙂 But now we are closer than ever to getting TABOO’s organic cotton pads and tampons to you lovely people!
We’ve also had some new team members join our squad! Annabel Bowles is the newest member to join the content department of TABOO. She will be helping Ali with the newsletter and blogs. Annabel is a journalism student at UniSA and she will be such an incredible addition to our team! The amazing Lolly Heaney will be helping Jaida with the ambassador program. Her role is primarily centred around communicating with and recruiting ambassadors through social media.
Tess Newton, one of our newest volunteers has just jumped onboard to look after our photography needs! Tess made contact, offering to help us shoot our line of merchandise. This will happen in very early April – no doubt you will see some pics soon. We’re very excited to share the location with you though – hopefully it will be the perfect backdrop to create some really effective images for our tees and caps.
We’ve recently been working closely with Zoe, our web guru from Melbourne to make sure we can maximise the effectiveness of our website and make sure it is strong enough to accomodate subscription purchases and customer accounts when we launch our product. Zoe’s been working extremely hard, researching to find the most reliable, effective and simple way to make our website work as a platform for sales, communication and information!
Lolly and Jaida, our ambassador coordinators are also arranging for some major changes to take place within our ambassador program. Stay tuned, because these exciting changes are going to be implemented in April! If you’re interested in learning more about how it could work for you, visit tabooau.co/ambassadors/
Mid way through March, one of our incredible ambassadors Sammie hosted the fundraiser of our dreams! A movie night at her lovely house with the most AMAZING grazing table and some delish bubbles. We screened the documentary “Period. End of sentence”, Eloise and Izzy did a quick presentation about TABOO’s journey and mission and then we all bedded down to watch 10 things I hate about you – the perfect way to end the night!
Well, that was an exciting month – keen for the next one!
Have a lovely day boos,
Eloise and Izzy xx
