Just a quick little update for your June newsletter, boos.
Major, major things have been happening at TABOO - mostly revolving around the fact that our pads and tampons are currently on a ship from Barcelona to Adelaide!
Our last month has involved preparing for this exciting arrival, and starting to plan our launch party (which you will all be invited to!). This party will be held towards the end of August, and just a heads up - it will be AMAZING! The party will mark the start of our sale of taboo pads and tampons. One month before the event, we will launch our pre order campaign, releasing the design of our product and giving you guys the chance to be some our first ever customers!
June also saw us launch TABOO merchandise on a new clothing platform called local threads! Local Threads is run by two young Adelaide guys who have actually recently won the innovation prize that we won in 2016 through the Unley city council! LT is an online platform that sells local clothing labels and they are SUPER cool. If you are in need of some really fresh new clothes, please show them some local love and check out their website.
This month, our incredible ambassador Grace Liebelt launched her Go Fund Me page because she is running the Barossa marathon to raise money for TABOO! What a weapon!
On the 12th of June, Eloise presented to the students at Cornerstone college, explaining to them what TABOO does and why we do it. On the 14th, some of the amazing students hosted a baking fundraiser and managed to raise $250! You guys are amazing! Thank you so much for your hard work.
Thank you so much for keeping updated, we are so excited to be sharing this journey with you! Have a lovely end to the month and we look forward to seeing you next time in your inbox with exciting July updates!
