March Business Update

March Business Update

March was an exceptionally jam packed month for TABOO, possibly even busier than February! We were incredibly honoured to have Premier of South Australia Stephen Marshall visit the TABOO office and find out more about the work the team does to end period poverty in SA and globally. You can watch the video here. We think the premiere is going to look very snazzy in his pink TABOO cap gifted to him by Izzy!

International Women's Day was celebrated on March 8th and TABOO had a number of events lined up around the big day. Izzy and Eloise attended the UN Women's IWD lunch in Sydney, while back home in Adelaide we celebrated with a Sunday morning brunch at Hygge Studio where Marziya Mohammadi spoke to us about the importance of intersectional feminism and her experiences as a migrant woman. We're also super grateful to St Mark's College who donated an astonishing $3,000 to TABOO as result of their IWD fundraising efforts. Thank you St Mark's!

Izzy and Eloise were luck enough to take part in a very fancy photoshoot for South Australian Style magazine. You can read the feature on TABOO and see the gorgeous phots here.

These 2 don't scrub up too bad, eh?
